Whether you are considering elopement, a Civil ceremony, a “Keep it Simple” small wedding or a Cheap & Cheerful celebration in your Grandmother’s living room or backyard, a traditional Church, Non-Denomination or Spiritual wedding, through her gentle and welcoming presence, she brings a sense of spirituality and joy to every service. Your wedding should be exactly what you want it to be.

Want to invite a family member or friend to participate or conduct the ceremony? Rev. Mary will assist you in making this memorable “for the right reasons” and legal. Want to get married in Aruba? She will happily provide you with a Pre or Post Destination Wedding Ceremony. If you want to get married in Hawaii, she will probably go with you.

If you are planning a Destination Wedding here in Ontario, Zoom is an excellent way to prepare for your wedding. Couples from across the pond have found confidence and reassurance that their wedding will be exactly what they want it to be, reflecting their personal views.

Commitment ceremonies or Vow Renewal ceremonies, which require no legal documents, can happen just as easily under Reverend Mary’s guidance and will still be heart-felt and meaningful.

Keep It Simple! Marriage Paperwork Completed

With everything in life becoming more expensive, there is a way to get married easily, effortlessly and affordably.

Rev. Mary McCandless of Love Always in Cobourg offers two streamlined packages that may just fit the bill.

Signed Sealed & Delivered is just that. It is a perfect solution for those who “just want to be married” without all the bells and whistles.

A quick no-frills way to make your marriage legal. No rings, no vows. No standing up in front of people. No ceremony. Only what is required by the Ministry to make it official.

All you need is your valid Ontario Marriage License and two witness at the prearranged time and location in Cobourg or the surrounding area. No ID is required for your witnesses. And if you really want to keep it a secret, Love Always will provide witnesses for $40 each.

Each Signing Appointment costs $250 and takes approximately 20 minutes. Following the signing, paperwork will be processed.

Not only is it less expensive than City Hall ($400), but there is also no waiting months for an appointment with them.

Lovely & Legal

A Simple Ceremony

Lovely & Legal is a beautifully streamlined ceremony option for couples who want something heartfelt without the formality of a full wedding. You’ll enjoy a warm welcome, the “I do’s,” your optional personal vows and ring exchange, and the official declaration that makes your marriage complete.

It’s a wonderful alternative to City Hall — with far more flexibility around date, time, and location. Include rings and vows if you wish, or keep things simple and sweet. The moment is yours to shape.

Just bring your Ontario marriage licence and two witnesses to our pre‑arranged location. (Your witnesses don’t need ID and are welcome to take photos.) Appointments begin at $300 for 25 minutes, depending on location, day, and time.
